Crisis / Early Intervention Service
Nga Kapua o Te Ao is the gateway into the Runanga Mental Health services. The Unit provides Assessment, Early Intervention and Crisis Support Services.
The Services provided, will help:
- Implement Kaupapa Maori Crisis Respite Service to Kirikiriroa.
- Expand Crisis Service provision and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- To maintain existing networks and develop new strategic relationships.
- Referrals are maintained at capacity for all services.
- To identify and develop opportunities for seamless service provision.
- To proactively promote the Runanga Mental Health Services.
- To contribute to the development & articulation of a Runanga Mental Health Best Practice Model.
- To implement a continuous improvement regime.
- To ensure relevant professional development for staff.
- To professionally advocate, link and support with Mental Health Collectives.
- To provide same day Crisis Respite Services.
- To offer Treatment Support options
- To proactively utilize Traditional and Western pathways.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.30pm
