There’s a disturbing move that may signal a radical reform in the way health services are delivered. Changes to the Waikato PHO Governance structure removing community and Maori representation did not appear to be a move towards, but rather a move away from the community.

JimWetereJim Wetere won’t forget this years Queen’s birthday weekend in a hurry. Along with celebrating his 60th birthday with wife Vivienne, he was named in the Queens Birthday Honours list with a Queens Service Medal for services to the community.

Born in 1949 in Wellington, Jim moved to Hamilton before he’d had his first birthday. He moved to the Fairfield area with his parents where he would continue to live until he married at 22.
