If you are in your 2nd trimester of pregnancy or have a child younger than 12 months and live in Hamilton city you can enter the programme. Participation is voluntary.

Parents as First Teachers (PAFT)

PAFT is based on the philosophy that parents are their children's first and most important teachers, and offers support and guidance to parents in this role.

PAFT provides free, practical, effective help to families in the Hamilton / Waipa district.

This support lasts from before your baby is born until your child's third birthday.
